Thoughts on IE8 browser version targeting

I've just been reading up on Microsoft's idea of browser targeting (that Aaron Gustafson supports) that would allow web developers to essentially opt-in to the standards mode of Internet Explorer 8. Setting up an iTrapped photo for your iPhone

I just thought I would share my experience getting my iTrapped photo of my brother made for my iPhone. This is the original idea of "Stillframe" on flickr who's iTrapped photos can be seen there. Apparently there's been so much buzz around the concept he's thinking of launching an official iTrapped website - I'm curious as to what the latest progress of that is.

Impressions of Coda

Coda Logo I tried out Coda over the weekend, Panic's new "One Window Web Development" application. And I've got to say, I was blown away. I haven't been this giddy about an application in a long time, I was totally geeked out. It's greatly simplified my workflow and increased my productivity. I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to switching between 3 or 4 applications again.

Web 2.0 at my Company

Today I had the pleasure of attending a keynote by Jose Castillo on Web 2.0. He's runs the blog thinkjose.com and he also spoke at SXSW this year. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend SXSW, but at least I get to see Jose. This week is Sharepoint days at Eastman Chemical Company where I'm working until May 11. Jose delivered the opening keynote to kick off the conference.
